New York City skyline at night

Poetry

Spring 2008

Samuel Menashe

Railroad Flat

Looking at the sky
From my window seat
I am in a train
Sidetracked here —
Here a lifetime —
How could I know
What day was mine
To seize, let go
Where to draw the line
Between yes and no
