Fall 2007
You can feel funny, but
there’s no relief, that is, someone
will still come with papers
for your signature, the phone
will ring and someone on the other end
will have hours of her self
to share with you, which if
you don’t take on, will anger or
temporarily devastate her; same
goes for the paper signing, if
you don’t go along with it.
These are people close to you,
who cannot understand your
rejection of them or intransigence,
this living in a shell of yours.
They are doing what they need to.
